Industrial Relations Officer - Bloemfontein

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a professional and detail-oriented Industrial Relations Officer to support and manage employee relations processes.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and support disciplinary processes. Receive and administer employee grievances and complaints. Assist with investigations and incapacity management processes. Monitor and maintain disciplinary, grievance, absenteeism and employee relations records. Prepare and maintain accurate reports and registers. Provide professional support on industrial relations matters. Promote fair, consistent and legally compliant employee relations practices. Support workplace health, safety and quality standards. Contribute to employee development and a positive organisational culture. Minimum Requirements: National Senior Certificate or equivalent to NQF Level 4. B.Com in Human Resource Management or a B.Soc.Sc qualification. Three years of extensive experience as a Recruiter, as specified in the job description. Valid South African driver''s licence and own transport. An Honours qualification in a relevant field will be advantageous. Skills and Competencies: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent planning and organisational abilities. Reliability, teamwork and the ability to achieve results. Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills. Attention to detail and effective prioritisation. Problem-solving skills and resilience under pressure. Intermediate computer skills, including SAGE, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint. Knowledge and understanding of recruitment and skills development. Working knowledge of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Labour Relations Act, Employment Equity Act and Skills Development Act.
