SUMMARY:
Industrialisation Engineer vacancy in Elandsfontein, Johannesburg.  BEng/BTech (Mechanical) or (Industrial Engineering). Must have industrialisation experience. Minimum 5 years of working experience in a multi-disciplinary manufacturing environment.  Project Management experience needed.

POSITION INFO:
Industrialisation Engineer

Elandsfontein, Johannesburg

Minimum requirements:

• B-Eng./B-Tech. in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• Project management experience
• At least 5 years' experience in a multi-disciplinary manufacturing environment
• Experience in the new product development
• Exposure to tool and die making, an advantage
• Exposure to electronics, an advantage

• Industrialisation of new products and product modifications
• Active participation in the product design phase to influence manufacturability, assembly, and cost
• Optimally convert the Product Baseline (PBL) into the Manufacturing Baseline (MBL)
• Use the Pre-Production phase to evaluate and update the Manufacturing Baseline (MBL)
• Ensuring all aspects of Impact Engineering Change Proposals are processed according to: Cost, Phase-out, Implementation, and Stock
• Technical support on assembly processes and component manufacturing processes
• Initiation and execution of Failure Diagnostics and Corrective Actions
• Compiling and submission of technical reports and progress reports, and various administrative functions in accordance with processes and procedures.
