POSITION INFO:

Infrastructure Automation Engineer (DISABILITY Recruitment)

We are actively recruiting for persons with disability for an Infrastructure Automation Engineer vacancy with a technology giant in Cape Town. You will have at least 4 years of professional experience in a similar role within the Communications Technology space, particularly in the areas of end-to-end IT Infrastructure Automation, including APIs and Orchestration.

Your role will be to develop and optimize automation for IT Infrastructure Build Services to ensure an effective and stable way of delivering high volume of infrastructure assets. Additionally, you will be responsible to develop and implement complex infrastructure automation environments for overall end to end Automation.

You will meet the following Minimum Requirements:

• Degree / National Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or similar from an accredited institution
• 4+ years’ experience in a similar role within the ICT / Telecoms Sector (non negotiable)
• High technical expertise in software engineering / development
• Proven experience in Python development & DevOps (GIT, CI/CD)
• High technical knowledge in Ansible and infrastructure automation
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Knowledge of software development methodologies e.g., AGILE and experience working with programming and scripting languages, such as Python
• Strong time-management skills, with the ability multi-task
