Inspector Pilot/FSTD

Overall Purpose
To ensure the effective and correct administration of aviation training organisations in accordance with the South African Civil Aviation Regulations Part 141, ICAO Annex 1 and internal policy standards. To certify flight simulator training devices (FSTDs) in compliance with the South African Civil Aviation Regulations Part 60.
Ideal qualifications required
Airline Transport Pilot License with Grade I Flight Instructor Rating.
Project Management.
A sound knowledge of training and training administration.
A certificate allowing for the certification of Flight Simulator Training Devices.
Ability to monitor and follow up corrective action and implement and close the action within negotiated time scales.
Ability to liaise with the industry to record problem solving solutions and convey knowledge to the industry to allow for improvement of standards
