SUMMARY:
General maintenance and breakdowns on mining plant.

POSITION INFO:

Instrument Technician diploma/N5-N6 in Instrumentation or Electronics trade test. 2-5 years plant experience. Flow,level,temperature and pressure. Electrical and pneumatic actuator experience, flotation cell, Basic knowledgeof PLC and Scada reading. Good trouble shooting skills. Responsible for planned and breakdown maintenance of equipment. Responding timeously to breakdown requests to ensure production runs optimally and efficiently to meet targets. Inspect all machinery, equipment and buildings of the facility. Ensure adherence to the OHSACT and company policies and procedures. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on machinery and equipment. Ensure job cards are received on time before work commences.
