SUMMARY:
Our client in Rosebank is looking to employ a Insurance Advisor Assistant to join their financial Team

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Matric or relevant NQF qualification
RE5 qualification or willing to obtain within a year
Advantageous: NQF Level 4 or 5 in Financial Planning / Wealth Management
Minimum 3–5 years relevant administration experience in a financial services environment (investments & long-term insurance)
Proven experience in new business processing and client servicing
Knowledge of major product providers (Liberty, Discovery, Momentum, Sanlam, Allan Gray, Investec, etc.).

Responsibilities

Process and submit new long-term insurance and investment applications timeously and accurately
Liaise with product providers (insurers & investment houses) to track applications through to issue stage
Follow up on outstanding requirements with clients and service providers
Prepare and issue policy schedules and confirmation documents
Handle client queries regarding existing policies and investments
Process servicing requests: beneficiary changes, premium amendments, policy updates, switches, withdrawals and cancellations
Prepare annual portfolio reviews and statements when required
