Insurance Broker (Short-Term Insurance)

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated, target-driven, and experienced Short-Term Insurance Broker to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is passionate about client service, relationship building, and delivering tailored insurance solutions. Leads are provided through internal referral channels, allowing brokers to focus on converting opportunities and servicing clients.

POSITION INFO:
Duties & Responsibilities Achieve monthly new business targets. Identify client insurance needs and recommend suitable short-term insurance solutions. Obtain and compare quotations from a range of insurance providers. Conduct face-to-face client consultations. Provide professional, accurate, and compliant insurance advice. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Manage and maintain a consistent pipeline of business opportunities. Convert qualified leads generated through internal contact centre agents and cross-department referrals. Service both personal and commercial insurance portfolios. Desired Experience & Qualification Matric \/ Grade 12. RE5 qualification. Relevant NQF Level 4 or Level 5 qualification (minimum 120 credits). Class of Business certificates for Personal and Commercial Lines. Proven experience in both Personal and Commercial Lines Insurance. Own reliable vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Preferred Competencies Strong sales and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Client-focused approach with a passion for service excellence. Ability to work independently and achieve targets. Strong relationship-building and networking skills. Sound knowledge of the short-term insurance industry.
