POSITION INFO:

Insurance sales manager, Cape town
We are an insurance and investment distribution business that focuses on supporting healthcare professionals with solving the real need of increasingly un-affordable insurance cost, specifically in medical malpractice, while also assisting with other insurance and investment needs. We leverage technology and our existing relationships serve our customers.

 

  • Extensive experience in insurance sales (KI credentials would be preferred).
  • Knowledge of commercial insurance (multimark policy wording, common exclusions & endorsements ect.).
  • High performance sales person, who has experience in selling insurance policies.
  • Experience working as insurance agent or insurance broker is prefferable

Responsibilities:

  • Motivating and advising the sales team to improve their performance, as well as hiring and training new sales representatives.
  • Achieve objectives and targets through effective planning, setting sales goals, analysing data on past performance, and projecting future performance.
  • Ensure that the sales department works cross functionally with other teams, in our company and across the group.
  • Identify key customers to target and ensure strong relationships are fostered.
  • Designing and implementing effective marketing strategies to sell new insurance contracts or adjust existing ones.
  • Contacting potential clients and creating a rapport by networking, following up on leads etc.
  • Appraising the demands of healthcare professionals and advising them on suitable protection plans.
