Job Summary:
My client an intellectual property consultancy is looking for an IP Lawyer for their offices in Mauritius
Missions:
Attached to an industrial property attorney, the incumbent of the position will oversee a customer portfolio, mostly international, and will have the following missions:
- Prior art searches and availability studies in Africa and abroad
- Follow-up of filing and registration procedures in Africa and abroad (responses to provisional refusals)
- Pre-litigation management and administrative litigation (formal notices, oppositions, action for annulment, actions for revocation, coexistence agreements)
- Consultations and legal studies in trademark law, copyright
- Drafting of contracts (assignments, licenses)
- Writing articles
Required profile:
- Graduate of higher education specialized in intellectual property (Master’s Degree /equivalent) or CIPL
- Required skills: Team spirit, rigor, curiosity, sense of organization, sense of listening
- Experience: You have a professional experience in a patent attorney firm, or the industrial property department of an international company
- English bilingual essential
