Intelligence Coordinator

SUMMARY:

An Internal Vacancy exists for an Intelligence Coordinator in the Critical Infrastructure Division based in Centurion – Head Office
 
Job Purpose:
The Intelligence Coordinator supports client-related security and investigation projects by collecting, analysing, and reporting intelligence that helps prevent risks and strengthen operational safety. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with investigators and internal stakeholders.
 
 
The suitable candidate’s main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

POSITION INFO:

• Collect and analyse intelligence from various internal and external sources.
• Monitor threats, suspicious activities, and irregular patterns affecting the operations.
• Provide actionable intelligence to support ongoing investigations and assist with developing leads.
• Prepare clear and accurate intelligence reports (daily, weekly, incident-based).
• Maintain up-to-date records in the designated system (CiiMS) and ensure confidentiality.
• Liaise with internal departments, external partners, and authorities as required.
• Identify and escalate high-risk findings in line with corporate and legal guidelines.\

• PSIRA certification – Grade A
• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 5 years’ experience/exposure
• Good Labour Relations skills
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• A working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Earth);
• Bilingual (English and any other South African language)
• Good interpersonal and customer relations
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Willing to work extensive hours as and when required
• Willing to work after hours and be on standby
• Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record
• Code 08 Drivers license and own reliable transport
• Analytical and quality focused – able to produce accurate management information
• Firearm competency

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
• Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Experience in intelligence, investigations, security, risk, or a related field (advantage).
• Familiarity with investigative systems (e.g., CiiMS) is an added benefit.
