SUMMARY:
Intermediate Actuarial Specialist

POSITION INFO:

Intermediate Actuarial Specialist

Positions in Cape Town, Durban, Sandton

 

Responsible for performing experience investigations in order to set and maintain the various technical pricing bases of the group risk products.

Pricing (large) group arrangements and interact with intermediaries, internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Performing regular mortality and morbidity experience investigations

Assist with the development and recommendation of technical pricing bases for full suite of group risk products

Quarterly reporting to SuperFund on the performance of SuperFund risk products

Performing the annual Superfund rate review

Assisting SuperFund team on quotes and client queries

Contribute to the design of the new operating model between GAP and Superfund

Pricing of group risk arrangements

 

 

 

Provide technical oversight and support, for group risk products in particular, to marketing, proposition, finance and servicing areas

Developing, maintaining and enhancement of Group Risk products and policy terms

Automation of models and business processes

 

 

 

 

Actuarial student with a minimum of 9 credits

At least 2 years actuarial experience

 

Strong analytical and technical skills

Good communication skills Experience in the Group Risk or Employee Benefits industry, including Group Risk pricing, would be a distinct advantage l8.4o
