POSITION INFO:
Intermediate Travel Consultant Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Intermediate Travel Consultant with 3 to 5 years of experience in the travel industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional travel solutions to clients, including flight bookings, accommodation arrangements, and vehicle hire services. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple travel itineraries efficiently. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end travel bookings for corporate and leisure clients. Arrange and confirm domestic and international flight reservations. Source, book, and manage accommodation requirements based on client needs and budgets. Coordinate car rental and ground transportation arrangements. Provide clients with travel options, quotations, and itinerary recommendations. Process booking amendments, cancellations, and refunds when required. Ensure all travel documentation is accurate and issued on time. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel products, destinations, suppliers, and industry trends. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, airlines, hotels, and car rental providers. Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve travel-related issues promptly. Ensure compliance with company travel policies and procedures. Meet individual and team sales and service targets. Requirements Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 3 to 5 years'' experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar travel-related role. Proven experience in: Flight bookings Hotel and accommodation reservations Car hire and transportation bookings Experience working with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre is advantageous. Relevant travel and tourism qualification preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong customer service and relationship management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines. Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. High attention to detail and administrative accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
