Our client is looking an Intermediate Java Developer to join their development team.

POSITION INFO:

Position: Intermediate Java Developer (with Linux)
Work type: Contract Position
Location: Midrand, Gauteng
Salary: Rate per hour negotiable (depending on experience)
Closing date: Monday, 5 July 2021

Introduction:
Our client is looking an Intermediate Java Developer to join their development team.

Desired Experience & Qualification:

Candidates are required to have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in Java Programming
Degree/Diploma
Relevant certifications
Telecoms or Financial Services environment experience

Knowledge:

Linux system administration (RedHat/Centos, Apache/NGINX, MySQL/MariaDB, Bash, Python) (nice to have)
Telecommunications technologies (SS7, SIGTRAN, MTP, SCCP, TCAP, MAP, CAP, etc) (nice to have)
Docker and Docker swarm experience (nice to Have)
Solid experience working in Linux
Back-end, Middleware, front-end and/or Mobile Application Development experience
Shell scripting ability for system administration
Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, SOAP, HTTP, XML, RADIUS, Diameter, SCTP)
Golang, C/C++, Angular/React, and/or Native Script/Ionic development experience.

Job Description:

Work with BA and a Technical Lead
Provide 3rd Level Product Support
Maintaining and contributing to system standards
Improve the automation of tasks where possible
Managing System Security
Capacity and Performance Management
Ability to learn quickly and work independently
Ability to work under pressure.
