POSITION INFO:
The Role:

Are you a guru in developing with .Net? Our client, based in Springs requires an Intermediate .Net Developer. The Developer, will be required to build software using languages and technologies of the .NET framework and to create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support to the Group.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Matric Certificate with Math (Math Literacy is not sufficient); and
• Relevant Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

Job Requirements:

• 3 - 5 years experience as a Software Developer;
• Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Application Development;
• Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC));
• Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3;
• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC); and
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support.
• Work with internal teams to design, develop and maintain software.
• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)and Participate in requirements analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.
• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.
• Test and deploy applications and systems.
• Revise, update, re-factor and debug code.
• Improve existing software.
