Intermediate QA Engineer

Our Client is looking for an Intermediate QA Engineer to maintain and add to an automated suite of tests for functionality on the company's Portal. This includes
analyses to determine the test cases required as well as the coding of new test cases. Manual
exploratory testing will also need to be performed.

Salaries and Benefits: Negotiable

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a test suite that can perform regression testing of functionality on the Mweb Portal
• Analyses and implementation of test cases for new functionality
• Work with developers to implement testing best practices into the company's Portal code base.
• Identify the cause of bugs and implement test cases to automatically detect similar bugs in the future

Key Skills:

• Experience implementing tests using browser automation frameworks like Selenium
• Intermediate level programming proficiency in Java or NodeJS
• Intermediate-level SQL & REST API proficiency
• Up to date knowledge of testing best practices and processes
• Ability to work with a team of developers on improving test coverage of the code base

Qualifications:

• Computer Science diploma
• QA certification
• A minimum of 6 years QA experience
• At least 3 years focused on testing browser-based applications
• At least 2 years working with test automation frameworks like Playwright or Selenium
• Intermediate level ability to program in Java or Python
