Our client has been delivering Outsourced and Incident Management Services in South Africa since 2003. The company is looking for an Intermediate – Senior C# .Net Developer to join their Johannesburg South office on a permanent basis, working from home 3 days a week, and 2 days a week in office. Their business revolves around Business Process Outsourcing – They help you run your business more effectively by taking responsibility for a variety of processes such as: Analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) Services, Assist and Emergency Services, Claims and Incident Management, Collections Services, Customer Experience Services, Digital Enablement, Human Capital Services, Sales and Distribution Services, Telecommunications Services.

POSITION INFO:
Job description:
The position they have available is custom developed Software in .Net. used in the insurance industry in South Africa.
The project is vast, and it provides experience to candidates in a very broad range of areas, including but not limited to:

• .NET C#
• Windows Forms
• Extensive Reporting in SSRS
• BI and Analysis services
• Responsive Web Frontends in MVC (Html, CSS, JavaScript, Teleri, Kendo, jQuery, Ajax)
• Lots of integrations in SOAP, WCF, RESTful Web API’s and everything in between)
• High performant, highly available back-end services
• Wide range of automations and scheduled services

• Internal systems development
• Understand and document business requirements.
• Ascertain potential pitfalls within suggest processes.
• Scope level of work to be completed.
• Evaluation of end user experience implications.
• Develop test environment for sign off.
• Agree deployment plan for rollout.
• Provide training material and assist with demonstrations and training.
• Rollout, test and monitor live environment.

• Development framework and coding standards to be followed.
• Implement and maintain version control.
• Implement and maintain deployment methodology.
• Assist with process architecture and modelling.
• Adhere to best-practices and security requirement

• Matric / Grade 12
• Degree from a reputable university in B. Eng, B.Sc, IT or B.Com
• Software development diploma or qualification from a reputable college, academy, or university
• Other relevant Microsoft Certifications, Beneficial

• 3+ Years relevant software development experience
• They run custom developed systems and extensive training will be provided “on the job”.

• Good understanding of Database design and Database principles, with exposure to:
• MS SQL
• MS SQL Server Reporting Services
• MS Analysis Services and Business Intelligence
