Job & Company Description: The client is based in Pretoria East and they are looking for a talented senior developer/architec to join their team. Currently their system is built by a third party, but they are now looking to start an internal team. They are looking for a senior developer to take on the role of software
architect. This means that YOU would be the expert and would be able to make technology-related decisions. This role definitely would mean more freedom and more creativity. The client specialise in the financial services industry and they have a real time multi-level, multi-branch web based administration software. You will be responsible for designing and developing software applications using and C#.NET, ASP.net, MVC, Bootstrap, Angular JQuery, Entity Framework, AWS as well as analyzing client requirements and technical specifications, and architect solutions with high performance.
Job Experience & Skills Required:BSc Computer Science or equivalent
5+ years of solid professional/commercial coding experience in full stack C#
Proficient in C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
Experience with the .NET framework as well as .NET Core
Solid coding experience using MVC, C#, ASP, AJAX, JavaScript, HTML5, WEBAPI and SQL Server
Application Frontend development in the latest Angular & ReactJS
Should understand integration via REST API, Logical data modelling using ER diagramming.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Azure or AWS
Good working knowledge of Agile development practises.
Good working knowledge of microservices.
