Duties:

• Provide strategic leadership and lead the Internal Audit team - providing a totally integrated Internal Audit function in the group by delivering an independent assurance service on risks, internal control, systems and governance processes
• Identify and assess level of issue-based risk exposures in area of responsibility by considering exposures to the business, financial and legal issues, people, equipment, material, environment, processes, etc.
• Manage performance against set targets and competencies.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Develop and implement Internal Audit strategic and operational audit plans
• Report the audit findings and recommendations to the Audit & Risk and Management
• Assist Management in developing and implementing IT and Risk management strategies
• Communicate the results of QA to senior Management and the Audit & Risk Committee

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Accounting / Finance or Auditing
• BCom Honours
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
• CA(SA) / MBA / CRMA / CISA is beneficial

• 10 years’ relevant experience in Internal / External Audit.
• 4 years’ managerial experience is preferable.

• Knowledge of Microsoft programs.
• Report writing.
• Demonstrate an understanding of audit procedures, including planning, techniques, test and sampling methods involved in conducting audits.
• Knowledgeable in Risk management, IT systems and Investigation process.
• Demonstrate an understanding of computerised accounting in SAP to gather, analyse and evaluate facts.
• IFRS and GAAP knowledge.
• Financial & Entrepreneurial Insight.
• Systematic Problem Solving & Decision Making.
