Renowned Asset Manager in Cape Town is looking for an Internal Auditor to join their dynamic team. 

The candidate will be responsible for assisting the Internal Audit team in executing internal audit activities within an Institutional and Retail Investment Management environment.

Some key focus areas:

• Planning and Scoping - conducting surveys of processes under review 
• Process Analysis and Risk Assessments 
• Risk identification and gap analysis
• Controls and substantive audit testing
• Reporting and Recommendations 
• Monitoring and follow up

Core requirements:

• CA(SA) / CIA 
• 3 years' audit experience gained in financial services industry 
• With at least 1 year's internal audit experience 
• STRONG academic transcripts is a must
• Smart, analytical and good problem solving skills 
• Outstanding report writing skills 
• Excellent people skills and EQ - able to inspire and persuade others
