POSITION INFO:

An international mining company is looking for an immediately available Internal Auditor to join their team in Mozambique for three months. The overall purpose of the job is to manage and lead an effective, efficient, comprehensive, independent and objective internal audit of the company’s compliance to the identified areas within a three-month period. The role will include duties such as:

Developing an audit plan to test the compliance on 3 areas including:

Health, Safety & Environmental compliance

Mozambican Labour & Tax laws

Sustainability policy compliance

Field audits of contractors

Reporting findings and improvement recommendations

Experience

Two or more years’ experience in auditing health and safety compliance.
