POSITION INFO:

Internal Auditor

Minimum Requirements
• Recognised internal audit qualification (CIA) or CA (SA)
• 5+ years€™ experience in internal audit
• Demonstrated ability to establish, develop and execute an IA function
• Thorough understanding of business processes, risks and controls (IT, financial, operational and compliance related controls and processes)
• Experience in risk management including the alignment with strategic objectives, facilitation of risk assessments and independent review of their effectiveness.

Additional Requirements
• An understanding of and application of the principles contained in King IV
• Compliance with the IIA€™s professional standards inclusive of quality assurance assessments
• Knowledge of SAP preferred
Specific Operational Requirements
• An 8 hour day between 08h00 to 16h00
• May be required to work overtime to meet the business needs
• Must be prepared to work shifts when needed
Key Performance Areas
• Prepare an annual internal audit plan using risk-based approach.
• Keep up to date on key developments in the business and be flexible to areas of concern as highlighted by management and /or the Audit and Risk Committee.
• Assess the overall risk to the organisation in terms of prioritising work/actions

Salary:R45000.00 – R63000.00
