JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Performing an audit from initiation to reporting.
• He/she must conduct assignments in accordance with professional standards and legislation.
• The candidate should ensure that he/she build and manage customer relationships and communication. The candidate must familiarize him/herself with the internal audit governance documentation based on the IIA standards, definition of internal auditing and the code of ethics.
• The candidate is responsible for notifying his/her Manager of any threats that might arise from an investigation/audit.

• Contributing to the management a variety of stakeholders
• Assessing how well the company is complying with rules and regulations and informing management whether any issues need addressing

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

• BCom Honors (Accounting/Internal Audit)
• CIA certification

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• Minimum three (3) year’s Internal Auditing experience
• Completed External Audit Articles
• 1-year experience in the Mining or Manufacturing industry
