Internal Auditor

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Motor Industry has an opportunity available for an Internal Auditor, based in the Randburg area.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• A relevant three year B Comm degree or equivalent majoring in Internal Auditing
• Four (4) years internal auditing experience which includes the following
• Experience in auditing within pension funds/ financial services environment will be an advantage
• Studying towards a Certification as a Certified Internal Audit and/or Certified Fraud Examiner will be an advantage
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
• Demonstrate knowledge of accounting, auditing, forensic investigations, ethics, risk management and compliance
• Ability to identify risk within complex processes

• To perform financial and operational audits under the direction of the Internal Audit Manager and/or Council’s Audit & Risk Committee as per the audit plan from planning through to the testing writing of the draft report on findings
• Participate in the writing of the draft audit report for process owners/managers as well as the audit committee
• To develop a detailed understanding of the Council and the Business Process
• To develop and maintain solid relationships with management and key employees
• To participate in the discussion of the results of the testing and the recommendations raised with the process owners/managers
