SUMMARY:
Our client in the Motor Industry has an opportunity available for an Internal Auditor, based in the Randburg area.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

A relevant three year B Comm degree or equivalent majoring in Internal Auditing
Four (4) years internal auditing experience which includes the following
Experience in auditing within pension funds/ financial services environment will be an advantage
Studying towards a Certification as a Certified Internal Audit and/or Certified Fraud Examiner will be an advantage
Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
Demonstrate knowledge of accounting, auditing, forensic investigations, ethics, risk management and compliance
Ability to identify risk within complex processes

KPAs:

To perform financial and operational audits under the direction of the Internal Audit Manager and/or Council’s Audit & Risk Committee as per the audit plan from planning through to the testing writing of the draft report on findings
Participate in the writing of the draft audit report for process owners/managers as well as the audit committee
To develop a detailed understanding of the Council and the Business Process
To develop and maintain solid relationships with management and key employees
To participate in the discussion of the results of the testing and the recommendations raised with the process owners/managers
