POSITION INFO:

Company Description

Secure the opportunity to work for a giant in the global digital currency company. The company operates across Africa, Southeast Asia, US, and Europe. The products and services this company offers make it safe and easy for people and businesses to store, buy, use, and learn about digital currencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum.   You will be expanding your skillset in a new way seeing that crypto currency is a new sector in SA.

As an Internal Auditor you will be responsible for providing independent assurance to the company’s risk management, controls, and governance. The appointee will assist the Internal Audit Lead by delivering a risk-based audit plan which will apply globally. The auditor will run end-to-end audit assignments in line with relevant prescribed policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Education:

• Honours degree (or equivalent) in Internal Audit
• Working towards obtaining Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• 2-4 years’ work experience within Internal Audit space
• Knowledge of AML (beneficial to application)
• Experience in ISO27001 control audits (beneficial to application)
• Experience in SOC compliance (beneficial to application)
• A work permit for South Africa (non-SA citizens)

Job Responsibilities

• Contribute to the bi-annual risk-based Internal Audit Plan.
• Responsible for the delivery of audit projects including
• Planning audits in line with the applicable standards (IIA)
• Identification of risk and mitigation thereof
• Development and execution of test procedures to verify the design and operational effectiveness of controls
• Preparation of quality working papers that meet the required quality standards
• Prepare draft findings and reports of your audit work.
• Ability to perform all stages of an audit project in line with applicable standards.
