Calling out all newly qualified CA (SA) that will be able to work in an organization that empowers entrepreneurship and that is interested in Internal Audit, this role will help you walk through the business to get a better understanding of the business itself and better prepare you for decision-making processes.

Whilst being listed on the JSE limited and with roots firmly established in South Africa, our client operates in the areas of consumer, pharmaceutical and industrial products, financial services, freight management, office, and print solutions, outsourced hard and soft services, travel services and automotive retailing, and is situated in Johannesburg. Duties:

Assessing and understanding business processes to identify key controls and risks
Critically evaluating the internal control environment, identifying risks, and drafting a suitable audit programme to test these controls
Use sound judgement and creativity to formulate practical recommendations in responses to control deficiencies/inefficiencies
Exercise individual judgement in audit approach
Assist with implementation of recommendations and perform follow-up audits to verify that controls have been implemented and are operating effectively

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
BCom Honours in Accounting
Newly qualified CA(SA)

Experience:

Completed Articles
Experience in retail/manufacturing sector is highly desirable

Skills & Competencies:

Able to work well independently and within a team
Presentable, professional, and confident
Understand and be proficient in MS Office and advanced Excel
Report writing skills
Display strong interpersonal skills
