A JSE-listed service, trading, and distribution group is looking for an Internal Auditor to join their team. With over 33 years of operating, this organization offers growth, exposure, and stability. They are looking for a newly qualified CA(SA)s for this role with a passion for audit and a positive, self-motivated personality.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:
Job Experience & Skills Required:

Jointly maintain and execute Internal Audit policies and procedures.
Jointly maintain and execute strategic and operational risk-based audit plans
Execute the planned audits alone and hold meetings and discussions with management and senior executives
Jointly communicate the results of the Internal Audit engagements to the relevant stakeholders, management, and senior executives
Understand how to identify fraud red flags or fraud indicators
Continually sell internal audit to management and other stakeholders and demonstrate the value that internal audit is adding

Qualifications:

Matric
BCom/BCom Honours
Newly Qualified CA(SA)

Experience:

Must have completed 3 years of SAICA Articles
Must be qualified and registered as a CA(SA)
Exposure to and experience in a variety of business types/ sectors, such as services, manufacturing, industrial, etc.
Exposure to different aspects of the business environment – risk, control, and improvement focus

Skills & Competencies:

Knowledge of King III and King IV Code of Corporate Governance
Excellent communication skills
Detail orientated with excellent analytical skills
A problem solver
Smart worker
Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
Able to manage a team as well as work independently
Positive and Self Motivated
Have Excellent Verbal communication skills
Ability to interact at all levels
Excellent report writing, presentation, and communication skills
Ability and availability to travel as and when required (35%)
