JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Assist in establishing Divisional policies, procedures and frameworks to guide the Internal Audit activity.
• Input into the design of test cases with a focus on internal control design evaluation and effectiveness testing using data analysis.
• Source and analyse data from relevant source systems; apply data mining and analysis techniques; in support of internal audits and projects.
• Provide input into risk assessment process with a focus on identifying opportunities for the use of data analytics to achieve outcomes.
• Ensure quality of execution and reporting of data analysis and continuous monitoring and auditing projects.
• Assist with the preparation of summary reports to senior/ executive management and the Audit Committee.
• Contribute to the improvement and innovation of audit process to improve overall efficiency and added value.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

• Honours (Finance/Accounting or IT) degree
• CIA certification preferred

• CISA certification will be advantageous.

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• 3/ 4 years Internal Audit experience
• 2/3 years’ experience in a manufacturing, FMCG environment and/ or wine and liquor
• Experience working as a Data Analyst in an Internal Audit environment
