Internal Sales Consultant | Building Materials 📍 Ndabeni, Cape Town 💼 Permanent Our client is a well-established supplier of specialist building materials with a strong reputation for quality products and exceptional customer service. They are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Internal Sales Consultant to join their Cape Town branch. If you have experience in the building materials, hardware or construction industry and enjoy building relationships with customers, we''d love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities Assist customers with product enquiries, pricing, stock availability and deliveries. Process counter, telephonic and email sales. Prepare accurate quotations, sales orders, invoices and delivery notes. Follow up on quotations, back orders and customer enquiries. Identify sales opportunities and build long-term customer relationships. Liaise with the warehouse and purchasing departments regarding stock requirements. Monitor market trends, pricing and competitor activity. Participate in stock counts and assist with general branch operations. Minimum Requirements ✔ Previous experience in Internal Sales, Counter Sales or Customer Sales . ✔ Experience within the building materials, hardware, construction, ceilings, drywall, roofing or related industry is highly advantageous. ✔ Strong customer service and communication skills. ✔ Computer literate with experience using ERP or accounting systems. ✔ Excellent organisational and administrative skills. ✔ Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. ✔ A proactive attitude with a passion for sales.
