Location: Pietermaritzburg

We are currently recruiting for a dynamic Internal IT Sales Representative to join a well-established company within the IT industry.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving sales, managing enquiries, and ensuring customers receive world-class service from first contact to final delivery. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a solid understanding of our products and services to confidently communicate their value to customers.

• Manage and process quotes, orders, and all sales-related enquiries via phone, email, and walk-in customers.

• Source and confirm pricing and product availability from suppliers.

• Analyse and interpret customer enquiries to ensure accurate product selection and technical specification.

• Collaborate with the team to deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.

• Maintain regular contact with existing and prospective customers to build lasting partnerships.

• Keep accurate records of customer interactions, sales activity, and pipeline updates.

• Assist with filing and general administrative support within the sales department.

• Perform other reasonable duties related to the role.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a sales support or customer service role within the IT industry.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).

• Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-first mindset.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Highly organized with great attention to detail.

• Eagerness to learn and grow within the company.

• Matric certificate 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills.

• Own transport and valid driver’s license.

• IT technical background or qualification.

• Previous sales experience.
