POSITION INFO:

Our client is seeking an Internal Sales Representative to join their team, based in Port Elizabeth.

Successful candidate will play a critical role in developing sales strategies for existing customers as well as to attract new clients. 

Minimum Requirements:-

• Matric
• Advanced levels of computer proficiency including the full suite of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Knowledge of steel products
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience as an internal sales representative at a medium to large manufacturing concern
• Must be able to work in an environment that comply to:-
  * Occupational Health and Safety Act
  * ISO 9001
  * IATF 16949
  * ISO 14001
  * Basic Conditions of Employment Act 

KPA's:-

• Comprehensive understanding and ability to compile costings and quotations
• Strong ability to convert quotes into newly awarded business
• Continuous monitoring and management of accurate stock levels and processed sizes to ensure that customer requirements are met timeously
• Receiving and efficiently attending to and resolving of customer complaints/queries
• Strong ability to negotiate and achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within customer base and market segment
• Managing, tracking and expediting customer orders, with the aim to exceed delivery and service expectation
