SUMMARY:
My client in the Steel Industry In Durban is looking for an Internal sales Support Consultant. The ideal candidate should be out of the steel/metal or heavy engineering industies.

POSITION INFO:

1. Account support

Accounts creation
vetting and query management
Administrative support
Ensure Management of accounts with External Sales Rep
Proposal and Order Creation
Qualify new leads
Ensure Target is driven through pro-active account management
Daily Follow Ups with Customers and order Generation

2. Build & develop customer centric capability

Continuously improve processes and the customer experience

3. Customer Relationship Management

Build and sustain mutually beneficial relationships
Customer liaison

4. Planning

Track and evaluate and results
Update sales reports and activities and forecast reporting; Management of diaries

QUALIFICATIONS

Matric and/or Post Matric qualification

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

2 to 3 years’ sales support/customer service experience in the Steel Industry
Steel product knowledge
Customer service centric
Results driven and customer focused
