POSITION INFO:
Qualification Matric \/ Senior Certificate Requirements 3 to 5 years in a similar position. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of Products as well as working experience on an ERP system. Problem solving and analytical skills to improve on service delivery. Fastener knowledge (Nuts \/ Bolts \/ Washers etc.) Duties Sales & Customer Relationships Handle all enquiries professionally and efficiently. Process accurate quotations and sales orders in accordance with sales rules and procedures. Assist in the Branch reaching Budgeted Sales target by pursuing opportunities for new business. Establish, develop and maintain relationships with customers and prospective customers to generate sales. Support the activities of External Sales and ensure regular follow up on outstanding quotes and orders. Coordinate sales efforts with sales management, sales representatives and dispatch. Ensure that product knowledge is developed and maintained and stay abreast of product applications and technical data. Ensure that customers are fully appraised of all related issues surrounding pricing, products and delivery, and that all correspondence from customers is responded to timeously. Resolve customer complaints by investigating the issue, developing a solution and make recommendations to management or direct to customer if appropriate. Monitor the quality of customer service and report problems to External Sales as required. Monitor competition, gather market information on pricing, new and existing products and delivery lead times. Provide management with oral and written reports of customer needs. Do whatever is required to ensure Customer Satisfaction.
