International TRANSPORT Strategy | Management Consultant (s) – South Africa / Africa / Europe / Middle East

Our client, a Global Strategy / Management Consulting firm who has built solid sector capabilities is currently expanding their transport advisory capabilities across the African Continent.

They are interested in engaging experienced individuals OR small teams (2-3 people) to help accelerate and grow. This team will bring the ability to deliver work in the transport sector in emerging economies, and will also work closely with the company’s leadership and business development team to drive business acquisition.

Candidates / the team will bring an existing book of work and/or a demonstrable track record of growing a portfolio of work in the transport sector with clients in Sub-Sarahan Africa (outside of South Africa), and preferably elsewhere in Africa and/or the Middle East. Along with this, the team will have an established network of clients and partners in the transport sector in one or more parts of sub-Saharan Africa.

We are particularly interested in individuals / team’s whose track record and network align with thematic areas of work in the transport sector, including:

Transport policy and strategy
Institutional and legal advisory
Financial and economic analysis, and funding strategies
Business planning and feasibility studies
Business and contract structuring, and public-private partnerships
Strategic project implementation and project management

Qualification and Experience Required:

Solid and proven track record with relevant business network ideally gained within Africa and / or Europe / Middle East
Relevant qualification in transport or urban planning, finance, engineering, economics, business or law, with the senior team member having at least 15 years of experience in the sector and being recognised as an international expert.
