Gijima is recruiting 1 x Bid Center Intern for their offices in Midrand

POSITION INFO:
The criteria is as follows:-

• Candidates must have completed a 3-year tertiary qualification (i.e. Degree or National Diploma in Marketing or Business Administration).
• Candidates must be computer literate and must be proficient in MS Office/Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, internet, MS Teams).
• Candidates must have no criminal record.
• Candidates must currently be unemployed.
• Candidates must currently NOT be enrolled at a tertiary institution.
• Candidates must not be participating on another learnership or internship program.
• Candidates must live in Gauteng (preferably in the Midrand area) – relocation is NOT an option;
• Candidates must be under the age of 35 as of 01 July 2026
• Candidates must be a South African Citizen (African, Indian and Coloured);

• Service quality is a key performance area.
• Possess good interpersonal skills and telephone etiquette.
• Effective people skills.
• Functional credibility – quick and accurate worker.

• Advanced MS Office / Office365 experience.
• Experience in the use of Adobe.
• Ability to effectively support the Bid Management team.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to perform under pressure.
• Punctuality with delivery, and quality assurance of all output assigned or requested.

Responsibilities: -

• Assist with the production and distribution of Tenders responses.
• Attending to tenders, RFQ's daily queries, validity Letters etc.
• Assist with the design and layout of the Bid proposal, from file covers to the response guide. TOC, template cover sheets and templates.
• Assist with the arrange and coordination of kick off meetings, roles and responsibility matrix, review and sign off meetings.
• Assist bid team to chase inputs and escalations.
• Assist bid team to identify those areas of the tender response that will require additional work, clarification, or escalation to ensure we can meet submission deadlines.
• Monitoring client communication and responses during preparation of tender.
• Adhere to governance.
