SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity has opened up for an Inventory and Stock Control Manager within a leading electrical distribution business.
This role is ideal for a hands-on, detail- driven professional who thrives in fast-paced warehouse and operational environment.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the stock control department and support warehouse activities.
Maintain accurate bin allocations, stock locations and system integrity.
Plan and manage work orders to ensure stock availability aligns with operational needs.
Conduct cycle counts, sectional counts and stock takes and resolve discrepancies.
Coordinate inter-branch transfers (IBTs) and ensure accurate system processing.
Monitor incoming shipments and back orders and resolve outstanding stock issues.
Ensure correct SKU allocation and barcode accuracy.
Oversee safe handling, storage and movement of stock.
Support warehouse efficiency through timely put-away and shelf replenishment.
Provide inventory support to sales, marketing and returns teams.
Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety and operational standards.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in inventory and stock control within wholesale, distribution, or warehouse environments
OR
Minimum 3 years’ experience managing a warehouse team.
Experience within the electrical industry will be advantageous.
Strong systems, reporting and stock management skills.
Proven leadership and people management ability.
Strong character, accountability and attention to detail.
