JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the Banking sector requires an Investment Accountant for a 6 months contract.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirement:

Prepare daily valuations on Retirement Fund investment portfolios, using an Investment Administration Platform
Review daily reconciliations between Investment Administration platform and Retirement Fund’s Asset Manager
Sign off variances based on tolerances and pre-defined rules
Assist with process review and other project activities

Excellent written, verbal communication skills.
Advanced excel skills
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Attention to detail
Good planning and time management skills
A responsible, accountable, and enthusiastic team player

Qualifications and experience

Recently qualified CA with Investment Accounting audit experience
A Bachelor’s degrees in Accounting, or Investment Management
Strong understanding of financial markets, financial instruments
Appropriate working experience in a similar environment
