Investment Administrator

POSITION INFO:

Provide administrative support to investment management team, ensuring efficient operations, accurate client account handling, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Mimimum Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Business Administration or similar
• 2 years administrative experience in financial services or investment management
• Knowledge of segregated mandate requirements
• Familiarity with investment administration, FICA and FAIS compliance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of stockbroking processes and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange is beneficial

Key Performance Areas:

• Stakeholder engagement and collaboration - act as the point of contact
• Ensure FAIS and FICA compliance
• New business processing and administrative support
• Manage and maintain accurate client portfolio records, including track and communicate portfolio actions such as dividends and corporate events
• Process investment instructions including trades, deposits, and withdrawals
• Prepare and distribute regular investment reports and compliance updates
• Maintain a complete and accurate audit trail of all client documentation
• Coordinate internal and client meetings, including agendas and minutes
• Assist with general administrative duties such as diary management, travel, and office support
