Drive Investment Insights That Matter – We're Hiring an Investment Analyst (Reporting)

POSITION INFO:
An exciting opportunity exists for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Investment Analyst – Reporting to join a high-performing team of investment professionals. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong foundation in investment performance analysis and a passion for translating complex data into meaningful insights for clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

Compile and analyse investment performance, risk, and compliance reports.
Automate and improve reporting processes using data-driven tools.
Prepare monthly and quarterly client reports, Regulation 28, and Annexure B compliance reports.
Maintain and review client reporting databases and investment models.
Prepare economic and market updates for client distribution.
Perform quantitative analysis and support ad hoc research projects.
Contribute to software specification and development aligned with analytical needs.
Ensure data accuracy and quality through routine checks and validations.

Requirements:

University degree in Investments, Statistics, Economics, or Mathematics. CFA or studying towards it is preferred.
2–5 years’ experience in investment performance and risk measurement.
Advanced Excel skills (macros/VBA experience advantageous).
Familiarity with Bloomberg, Morningstar Direct, and investment accounting systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred:

Background in the investment or pension fund industry.
Experience with Style Analytics and investment reporting tools.
