We are looking for passionate Investment Manager who is driven by doing their bit to contribute to people and the planet. Someone who understands the triple bottom line and has a deep understanding of the impact ESG can have. If you have your honours in Engineering or Finance, have 7-9 years’ experience in the emerging market renewable energy space with a proven portfolio of projects/transactions under your belt (from due diligence through to post-investment monitoring) then you are exactly the person we want to talk to. You will be commercially savvy with sound business judgement like none other, your ability to interpret data, see the big picture while understanding the nuances of the interrelated intricacies is something that you have always been praised for. You will have a knack for building strong relationships quickly, people trust your advice, feedback and insights. You will see to it that due diligence and transactions are effectively executed and closed. You will actively sit on the board of seats (post-investment monitoring), using your years’ of experience to advise and guide project companies, ensuring success. You will see to it that the correct ESG requirements are met per project. In a nutshell, you will be responsible for financial modelling and analysis, investment proposals as well as due diligence, and related negotiations.
