Invoice Clerk

SUMMARY:
A client of ours within the Logistics Sector is looking for a meticulous Invoice Clerk to join their solid team

POSITION INFO:
Location
Johannesburg North

Requirements:

• National Senior Certificate
• Experience as an Invoice Clerk or similar is essential
• Experience or understanding of the transport industry is a plus
• Proficiency in accounting systems such as Excel and other computer packages

• Accurately prepare, process, and issue invoices to clients, ensuring they align with agreements and are submitting on time
• Ability to catch even the smallest errors and ensure all invoicing information is accurate
• Maintain an organized and up-to-date system of all invoicing records, including reconciliations and payment schedules
• Input invoicing data into the company's accounting system with precision, ensuring all entries are accurate and error-free
• Handle all follow-up communications regarding overdue invoices and assist in resolving any discrepancies
• Work closely with other departments ( sales, finance, and operations) to ensure smooth processing of all invoicing-related tasks
• Ensure that every invoice is checked for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards
