Invoicing Clerk

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS

• Matric
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Understanding of basic accounting math
• Strong attention to detail to keep accurate accounting entries
• Familiar with Pastel accounting software advantageous
• Great customer service skills to work with various clients
• General administrative skills, including managing emails

• Ensure every invoice sent out is accurate
• Prepare account statements for customers
• Resolve billing errors flagged by customers
• Communication with relevant departments regarding feedback on billing issues to resolve customer queries
• Assisting with the management of customer rates
• Checking of loaded rates to contracts (i.e., checking accuracy of rates loaded)
• Verifying the accuracy of billing against contracted rates
• Checking completeness of customer billing
• Assisting in identifying and facilitating the resolving of issues relating to billing
• Assisting debtor’s clerk with billing of customers when required
• Assisting with other admin-related duties as required
