Employer Description My client is in the chemical manufacturing industry. Job Description My client is looking for a Financial Accountant to formalise, consolidate and grow their finance function. The suitable incumbent will be responsible for: Owning and maintaining accurate financial records Implementing improved processes to drive efficiencies Assist with implementation of new general ledger system VAT preparation, submission and reconciliation Processing Payroll and PAYE Working closely with auditors and tax advisors Improving cash controls and banking processes Preparing management accounts Closely tracking and planning foreign & local payments Qualifications Diploma\/Degree in Financial Accounting Skills 5 Years experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role Proficient in Sage or Pastel Salary\/Package R30 000 to R40 000 CTC depending on experience Benefits None
