Job Description

• To ensure the efficient control, dispatch & delivery of the correct quality product to suppliers, manage product stockpiles and ensure compliance to health, safety and environment.
• To ensure that the company meets targets
• To ensure truck availability, product availability and quality of product
• Evaluate and inspect trucks
• Ensure correct utilisation of trucks to meet demand
• Planning and reporting
• Reconciliations
• Management of Health & Safety within area of responsibility
• Management and execution of an effective communication strategy with relevant stakeholders
• People management within area of responsibility

Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Logistics

Skills

• Minimum of 5-10 years’ similar experience in the mining industry.
•   Sound knowledge and understanding of the MHSA/OHSA
• Motivated and driven by high standards
• Strong management skills
• Must be hands on and able to work under pressure
• Ability to network and communicate with all relevant stakeholders
• Good people management skills
• Planning
• Drive for results
• Good interpersonal relationships skills
• Excellent computer skills
