SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading company in the (FMCG) industry, is searching for a dedicated and organized Junior Financial Assistant to join their team in Irene

POSITION INFO:

Data Entry:
- Enter financial data accurately and efficiently into accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Update and maintain financial spreadsheets.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions.
Financial Reporting:
- Assist with the preparation of basic financial reports (e.g., income statements, balance sheets).
- Compile and analyze financial data.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures.
Other Duties:
- Answer phones and emails in a professional manner.
- Provide basic administrative support to the finance team.
- Learn and perform other tasks as assigned.

3. Essential Qualifications

Education:
- Minimum of a Matric certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
- A post-secondary diploma or certificate in Accounting or Finance (desirable).
- Strong computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience in a financial or bookkeeping role (e.g., internship, volunteer work).
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
