JOB SUMMARY:
A busy steel and hardware retail outlet requires a person to assist on the counter in the Warehouse.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications:

Grade 12 / equivalent

Experience and Requirements:

Minimum of a years’ recent working experience in a steel retail or related environment, able to identify steel products
Computer literate
Able to work under pressure
Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
Of sober habits
Be physically fit and energetic and able to work on your feet
Reside on the West Rand / Surrounding areas
Own reliable transport and a valid driver’s license
A stable work record and contactable references
Able to work retail hours (including Saturdays & Public Holidays on a roster basis)
Monday to Thursday 07h30 – 17h00 and Fridays until 16h30 as well as alternative Saturdays and Public Holidays from 08h00 – 13h00

Duties and responsibilities

Assist customers with loading of steel and related products according to the invoice
Receive stock from suppliers
Pull stock from fittings room, or cash and carry shop
Meet and greet customers
