Description:

The role purpose is to develop, maintain and support mission-critical, enterprise-grade software applications that improve business efficiency and are aligned to the enterprise architecture and business strategy.

Successful candidates should be able to operate on the own and within a team setup, depending on the projects they will be involved in, knowledge sharing is a key role.

Various technologies used in this spec of the major ones are Java EE, Maven, Jenkins, CI, Docker, Amazona, Web services, Oracle, WebSphere Liberty, Angular, AIX, Linux.

The responsibilities and work outputs are:

v Internal process which is to develop software’s based on technical design

v Collaborations with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct analysis and priorities requested

v Maintain existing programmers, ensuring all errors are resolved and documented

v Take ownership for driving career development to contribute to financial controls and planning

Education:

     Matric\Equivalent as a minimum qualification

     relevant tertiary qualification

     java certification (sun certified java programmer or developer) required

     OpenShift will be highly advantageous

Experience:

     5+ years Software dev experience in a distributed computing environment using java

     Solid Java back-end development experience

     Spring work framework

     JBPM experience

     Apache Camel

     GIT Lab experience
