Java Technical Lead

POSITION INFO:

Qualification:

• BSc Honours in Information Science/ BSc in Computer Science
• 7+ years'' experience in java development
• 5 years experince in management role

Skills:

• Java EE 7/8
• Spring 4.x
• JBoss, WebSphere or Glassfish experience
• Java
• JPA (e.g.: Hibernate, Eclipse link, Toplink)
• JAX-WS (Rest + SOAP)
• JUnit
• Maven

Duties:

• Proficiency in a development language 
• Experience as solutions architect and designer for multi-team programs.
• Relevant exposure to different delivery methodologies (Scrum, Agile, Traditional)
• Working knowledge of object-oriented programming/design, SQL, web application development and security.
• Investment knowledge will be an advantage
• Continuous improvement of existing application architecture.
• Mentoring and coaching of teams in design practises and techniques.
• Oversee quality of integrated system solution.
• Direct or indirect involvement in the development of policies, standards and guidelines that direct the selection development, implementation and use of Information Technology within the enterprise.
• Build employee knowledge and skills in specific areas of expertise.
