POSITION INFO:

Qualification:

BSc Honours in Information Science/ BSc in Computer Science
7+ years'' experience in java development
5 years experince in management role

Skills:

Java EE 7/8
Spring 4.x
JBoss, WebSphere or Glassfish experience
Java
JPA (e.g.: Hibernate, Eclipse link, Toplink)
JAX-WS (Rest + SOAP)
JUnit
Maven

Duties:

Proficiency in a development language
Experience as solutions architect and designer for multi-team programs.
Relevant exposure to different delivery methodologies (Scrum, Agile, Traditional)
Working knowledge of object-oriented programming/design, SQL, web application development and security.
Investment knowledge will be an advantage
Continuous improvement of existing application architecture.
Mentoring and coaching of teams in design practises and techniques.
Oversee quality of integrated system solution.
Direct or indirect involvement in the development of policies, standards and guidelines that direct the selection development, implementation and use of Information Technology within the enterprise.
Build employee knowledge and skills in specific areas of expertise.
