Jnr Bookkeeper

SUMMARY:
A vacancy is currently available for a highly motivated and experienced Bookkeeper / Administrator to manage the day-to-day operations of an engineering firm based in Rosebank, JHB.

POSITION INFO:
Our client, based in Johannesburg, but operational countrywide, is an engineering firm committed to unlocking
sources of water through the design and development of innovative technologies. The business is primarily functional in the mining industry and communities that lack proper water infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoicing for the scheduled appointments on the scheduling platform.
• Invoicing for the SLA’s, WOA’s, and O&M clients.
• Western Cape Government sites invoices -
  • Service fee schedule for every visit.
  • O&M Report.
  • Lab reports / Analysis for every visit.
  • 6-month water quality report which needs to be added to the monthly site summary report (add the full test results in the spreadsheet).
  • O&M Site summary report for the month
• Monitor Google Sheets for clients to check if the onsite staff are completing their daily sheets.
• Follow up client queries on admin, billing, and metering issues as they arise.
• Scheduling of service appointments for technicians.
• Using the scheduling platform (Jobber) to manage client admin and work.
• Order materials and chemicals when asked and liaise with accts. for payments towards the orders placed.
• Process emails as required.
• Incoming phone calls for the company.
• Monitor plant job forms and complete daily.
• Provide assistance to senior management.
• To carry out any other related work as requested from time to time.
• Bookkeeping skills, exposure to the Xero accounting package would be advantageous.
• Experience in debt collecting and dealing with client queries on invoicing etc.
• Other general office administration tasks.
