SUMMARY:
Hospitality Hire is recruiting for our client, a truly special destination in the Karoo. Located just two hours from Cape Town along the N1, the property offers an authentic escape with 26 hotel rooms, 13 Africamps glamping tents, two restaurants and a wide range of outdoor activities.
The destination is undergoing exciting facility upgrades and introducing new guest experiences.
We are looking for a hands-on and service-driven Junior Food and Beverage Manager with hospitality experience to support the daily operations of the food and beverage department. This position is based on-site at the property and includes accommodation.
You will work closely with the executive team, contributing to service delivery, team leadership, guest satisfaction, cost control, and overall operational excellence.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day management of all food and beverage operations
- Oversee front of house service to ensure exceptional guest experiences
- Supervise and guide food and beverage team members on shift
- Maintain high service standards and ensure consistency across outlets
- Assist with staff scheduling, training and performance management
- Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve any service-related concerns promptly
- Assist with stock control, stock takes and ordering processes
- Support kitchen with basic costing and cost control measures
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards
- Work closely with senior management to improve operational efficiency
Minimum Requirements- Previous experience in a food and beverage supervisory or junior management role
- Strong front of house operational experience
- Solid understanding of restaurant and bar service standards
- Exposure to stock control and basic costing processes
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
- A hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
