SUMMARY:
Title: Junior Graphics Designer
Location: Centurion
Renumeration: Based on Qualifications and Experience
 
Our client, in the Food and Beverage Industry, is looking for a Junior Graphics Designer to join their team based in Centurion. This role will be responsible for developing everything from core design assets to catalogues, mailers, brochures and integrated marketing collateral for various product ranges, create new packaging for in-house brands, conceptualise and launch marketing campaigns. The candidate will assist the design team with creating and refining visuals and design elements across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will be motivated, dedicated, innovative and creative with proven conceptual ability and storytelling skills.
 
Required Qualifications & Working Knowledge:

• Degree and Diploma
• 1 – 3 years in a graphics design position
• Strong proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience in assisting with light animation, motion graphics or AI enhanced design tools with be advantageous
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

POSITION INFO:
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop original designs, concepts, and layouts that demonstrate strong visuals and aesthetic principles
• Assist in creating artwork for campaigns – including landing pages, emails, banners, social media posts, website assets, and other deliverables
• Estimate project timelines and ensure work is completed efficiently
• Think creatively to generate new ideas and innovative design solutions
• Source and curate imagery for campaigns and maintain the company’s image library
• Apply and maintain brand corporate identity (CI) guidelines consistently across all materials
• Translate visual styles effectively across various mediums to create cohesive campaigns
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives and deliver impactful designs
• Develop conceptual sketches and storyboards to communicate creative ideas
• Produce engaging graphics, illustrations, and layouts that align with brand standards
• Stay up to date with design trends, techniques, and best practices
• Prepare layouts and artwork for print production, ensuring quality and accuracy
• Edit and retouch photos for print and digital use
